Want to join the team? We have a number of possibilities.
Seasonal jobs are normally announced before Christmas with application deadlines in January/February. Permanent, full-time jobs are announced when necessary. From time to time we also need new staff with the right qualifications who are prepared to work by the hour at various events.
Students and volunteers who are looking for practical experience here are requested to contact us. Lofotr Viking Museum is an approved trainee business and welcomes trainees/ apprentices in tourism subjects.

Note that some of the vacancies may be located to the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum at Å, Lofoten, even though Lofotr Næringsdrift AS (Ltd) is the employer.

Volunteer at the museum
Many people want to live like Vikings for a period of their lives, and this is your chance.
Why not combine a holiday in Lofoten with an experience of proximity to the lifestyle of our forefathers? You should bring your own Viking costume and any special equipment you need to carry out the job you wish to do here.
