and/or soap and water. Wash hands properly. Disinfectants are available at all entrances.
Keep your distance
Keep at least 1 - one - meter distance to the next household.
Ticket sales: a limited number of tickets are sold every hour. This is to avoid crowds and to let guests have enough time to see the museum without being rushed through the rooms. There are limitations to how many persons the various areas in the museum can hold. We will restrict ticket sales or spread the audience if needed, to keep within the limits. Our staff will monitor the situation and take the necessary action. The museum has several, large rooms/exhibition halls and vast outdoor areas.
Bring your own facial mask for protection and wear it at all times when it is not possible to keep the 1-meter distance.
Do not touch
If not necessary, do not touch. We will be leaving as many doors as possible open (weather conditions apply), use cordons/block off areas. Please avoid touching items/objects. Our skilled guides are more than happy to share their knowledge. Surfaces that are being frequently touched are frequently cleaned. Our cleaning routines are adapted to the circumstances.
Bring your own smartphone and headset
Due to Covid-19, we do not lend out iPods, iPads, headset, or other equipment. Bring your own if you would like to dive into the audioguide-exhibition system (archeological exhibition hall, film. No audioguide-system in the Viking Chieftain longhouse or in the outdoors).
