The Vikings’ Warm Lunch

Over an open fire in the Feast Hall, or the Living Quarters, something savoury will be simmering in the large cauldron. Lamb soup, seasoned with local herbs and served with Viking bread and sour cream, is a lunch that will cheer you up and keep you full. Available to all our guests every day in the period between 15 June and 15 August.

Fish soup with salmon and cod, lamb soup, or some other delicacy can be booked by groups all year round.

You sit at a long table together with other guests. Serving starts at 12:00 and lasts until 16:00. Advance booking for groups only. Viking meals for groups
