What happens in October 2020
In October it is autumn in Lofoten, and throughout the month the museum is open Mondays-Saturdays, 1200-1600. Every evening there is also a Viking Feast for individuals and if you're lucky you might see the northern lights dance over the longhouse.

Visit outside opening hours can be booked in advance (groups).
Archeologicial exhibition, film and the Chieftain's House is open.
Bring your smartphone to listen to the stories about the findings that are displayed.
Viking Feast every evening for individual guests (prebooked) at 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM. The Museum Gift Shop is open during museum opening hours.
On the following days we have extra activities:
Saturday, October 3: Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Lofoten Vikinglag".
Autumn school break 2020:
Extra activities will be announced closer to the holiday.
Children's Viking Saturday is back. Autumn program 2020 will be posted later on.
