What happens in March 2020
March is a great month for seeing the northern lights, the days are quickly brighter and brighter, and the weather changes frequently. There is much to see in the world's largest longhouse from the Viking era. There are also many days of extra activities, not least during the winter holidays. Open six days a week, Monday-Saturday 1200-1600!

Archeological exhibition, film and the Chieftain's House are open.
Bring your smartphone to listen to the stories about the findings that are displayed.
Viking Feast every evening for individual guests (prebooked) at 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
The Museum Gift Shop is open during museum opening hours.
On the following days we have extra activities:
Monday, March 2 - Friday, March 6: Winter break for the local schools. Extra activities for kids.
Saturday March 7: Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Lofoten Vikinglag".
Saturday, March 14: Children's Viking Saturday - Clothing archeology, "Clothing styles in the Viking age". (postponed)
Saturday, March 21: Children's Viking Saturday - Leather bookmark (cancelled)
Wednesday, March 25: Anniversary event - Lecture (Event held in Norwegian) (postponed)
Saturday, March 28: Children's Viking Saturday - Storytime (cancelled)
