What happens in March 2019
March is a great month for seeing the northern lights, the days are quickly brighter and brighter, and the weather changes frequently. There is much to see in the world's largest longhouse from the Viking era. There are also many days of extra activities, not least during the winter holidays. Open six days a week, Monday-Saturday 1200-1600!

Archeological exhibition, film and the Chieftain's House are open.
Bring your smartphone to listen to the stories about the findings that are displayed.
Viking Feast every evening for individual guests (prebooked) at 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
The Museum Gift Shop is open during museum opening hours.

Saturday, March 2: Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Lofoten Vikinglag".
Monday March 4 - Saturday March 9 (week 10): Winter break for the local schools. We make thinbread and bookmarks together in the museum.
Saturday, March 9: Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Vargfot Vikinglag".
Saturday, March 16: Children's Viking Saturday - Rune journey through the longhouse
