What happens in January 2019

In January, the Viking museum is open two days a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1200-1600. The polar night is on the wane and it is slowly begins to move towards brighter times. Outside you can see the northern lights dance across the sky if the weather is good. Inside you can visit the archaeological exhibition, film and the reconstructed Chieftain's House and the museum gift shop is open. In addition, we have a Viking Feast every night - almost.
